Rihanna album 'ANTI' and single 'Work' unveiled

Rihanna’s new album ANTI and Work, the first single to be taken from it have been released to a mixed reception.

 


The album was leaked early on streaming service Tidal but Rihanna later shared a link through which fans could download the album for free, calling it a gift to her fans.


New single Work was revealed to be the first single from the album meaning that the songs that she has released in the last twelve months including FourFiveSeconds, American Oxygen and Bitch Better Have My Money will not be featured.


Work has received a mixed reaction with many people criticising the song’s lyrics, or lack thereof.
The song features Drake in an attempt to draw in fans but the fact that Rihanna utters the word “work” a staggering 88 times during the song’s 3.39 run time has left many people disappointed and confused as to where Rihanna is going with it.


Twitter users were as diplomatic as ever with one user pointing out that, unbelievably, eight people are credited with having worked on the song’s lyrics.
