Tom Santa is an Australian producer who has been releasing music for just under a year. During that time he has received critical acclaim, making some groundbreaking music that has received some very positive reviews.

Lyrically it’s fair to say, this is a simple and easy to follow track. Tom Santa’s latest release is not meant to be a lyrical masterpiece, the words simply give the music a hook to hang off. ‘Bad for Me’, refers to knowing that someone might not be good for you in a relationship, but sometimes you just can’t help yourself.

What strikes me in this track is the energy. With a dance feel and lots of production tricks, the song seems to have lots of segments that fill the nearly 3 minute space. On the vocal you can hear lots of production wizardry that moves vocal notes and provides the slight computerised sound. The drum and bass push a good rhythm that gets your foot tapping and give this a real lift. I like this track, it may not be filled with deep meaning, but it made me want to move and nod in appreciation of the musical journey it took me on, which is what I hoped to get from this tune.
