The Swedish-born star, who started her career at the age of 10, has made a huge impression on the world of music since her debut in 2008. Now, at the still-tender age of 25, she is releasing hit after hit. Her most recent offering, "Can't Tame Her," was released in January of this year, but this latest release showcases an acoustic version of the song that deserves to be celebrated as a wonderful creation.

The title of Larsson’s latest single does a great job of explaining the concept of this song! This is about a free-spirited woman who won’t be tamed, so the advice to anyone who might be thinking of doing this is simply: don’t try. Let them live through their party phase, and if you don’t think that will work for you, then it probably won’t be a good match!

Acoustic releases don’t guarantee you the full treatment of a genuine acoustic production; however, "Can’t Tame Her" really does. With a beautifully warm acoustic guitar that, for the majority of the song, is the accompaniment, it is clear that Zara Larsson’s latest release is genuinely acoustic. The vocal line is very busy but works as a wonderful contrast to the backing. There are overdubs of vocals and, at times, some extra acoustic instrumentation, but the simplicity and honesty of the final arrangement bring home a wonderfully pure sound that was a joy to hear. I can see why an acoustic version of the original January release was commissioned, as it works perfectly.
