Kiwi post-punk band Yukon Era new single 'Knife Skies'

New Zealand's Yukon Era just released a brand new single, ‘Knife Skies’, the third single to be taken from their upcoming debut album, scheduled for release in early 2019.

The band has recently toured Europe and the UK, played international music festival The Great Escape in Brighton and have been honeying their songwriting, developing a more mature sound. Their post-punk influences include June of 44, Polvo and Don Caballero, but what makes Yukon Era stands out are Christian Dimick’s alienating lyrics.

The band just signed a deal with Australia's powerful music publishing company,  Mushroom Music Publishing, and will be back on the road in autumn, touring Australian and NZ before going back to Europe and the UK.
