Tickets Sell Out for Glastonbury 2011

in Latest

Despite no confirmed acts for next years Glastonbury Festival tickets have sold out. This is not a new phenomenon for the festival and shows that the power of both live music and the festival itself are stronger than ever.

Rumour mills as to the line up have been active, but not as active as you might expect with no big name acts being linked to the line up for 2011.  Given the success of having Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Wonder in consecutive years, it is hoped that the festival lures another first class, legendary performer to the Somerset venue.

Glastonbury, which celebrated thirty years of music, celebrated in fine style with Stevie Wonder singing his famous hit “Happy Birthday”, on the Pyramid Stage.

British peoples’ passion for music seems to no know bounds where despite unpredictable weather and not the best toilet facilities in the world, the mouth watering prospect of seeing the biggest names in music overrides all other factors. Given this quite amazing fact, the question has to be asked what would it take to stop British music lovers descending on Glastonbury?

Right now, like the line up, nobody knows. Fingers crossed, like the last two years, it will be a good one.
