Madonna has long been known as the Queen of Pop and has now made chart history by getting more number ones on the Billboard chart than any other artist.

Her new single Ghosttown became her 45th number one on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart and means that she has overtaken George Strait who totted up 44 number ones on the Hot Country Songs chart.

She has had double the amount of number ones of her closest competitors, Rihanna and Beyonce who each have 22 respectively.
